Introducing Buster and Lyla!

Buster and Lyla are two sweet little kitties that I adopted last weekend. They were rescued by City Critters from underneath a home in Queens. They were born in the end of July (we think!) and were 7 weeks old upon adoption, the weekend of 9-7-07. Buster and Lyla are brother and sister and although Lyla is smaller than Buster, she can hold her own in a fight.

The kittens lived with a wonderful foster mother and father for a week before I adopted them. Beacuse of the foster family's actual pets, the kittens remained in a cage until the time of adoption.

On Sunday, September 9th, they were dropped off to their new, humble home on Saint Marks Place in the East Village of NYC. After emerging from their carrier, they jumped, ran and discovered their new home.
